In the recent press conference , ASUS company showed several motherboards models on base of X58 chipset, intended for work stations and Gamng PC.

The motherboard Asus P6T WS PRO has two slots PCIe x16, two slots PCI- X and built-in SAS support (Serial attached SCSI).

Asus P6T6 WS revolution does not have any PCI or PCIe x1 slots. Instead of this, it is equipped with six slots PCIe x16. Thus, it is suitable for computers with multiprocessor graphic systems with CorssfireX or 3- way SLI technology .

The motherboard Asus P6T deluxe/OC palm supports the control panel OC palm. This screen allow to control voltage, temperatures and fan rotation speed .

And finnaly Asus rampage II Extreme.

It's been 5 or so years since I built a machine for myself, it's alwas been for someone else. Maybe it's time to upgrade. It'll help the economy. Gotta cost a bundle between CPU,board,PS, Sound & video card then add the icing (memory) has to be $2K+ by the time you're ready for O.S. All my machines are ASUS and have been since 98 and never and I do mean never had any problems except for operator error or stupidity. just wish I was 20-30 years younger to see what lies out there. I'll just be \"bits of memory\" by then, 60 now but still 18 @ heart with tech
