Temperature monitoring is an important for computer component protection system . The built-in processors thermal-diode do not allow overheat with overclock or fan failure . Furthermore, sensor temperature gives to us the possibility to follow the temperature of processor and to smoothly regulate the fans rotation speed , reducing the noise level in the idle time.
Transcend company declared about the release of DDR- 3 memory modules characterized with temperature sensors. According to the intention of producer, such a sensor allows to track the temperature of each memory module and to flexibly distribute loads, preserving the reliability of system at high levels.
