TSMC can forego the mastery of 32 nm technical process, which allow to release video chip. NVIDIA Company promised to release 28 nm chips kepler in 2011. It was originally considered that northern islands will be released on 32 nm technology, but after TSMC decision the technical process was changed to 40 nm version. AMD representatives confirmed that graphical solutions radeon HD 6xxx originally will be released on 32 nm technology. Only TSMC failure on the adoption of these technological standards forced AMD to preserve adherence to 40 nm technical process. According to available data, the first 28 nm video chip TSMC will be able to release not previous the middle of following year. | ||
