Like every other Radeon X1800/X1900 card, the Gigabyte Radeon X1900 XTX supports VIVO through a Rage Theater chip. This functionality isn’t in great demand in our era of digital video, but sometimes you may need to connect an analog video source to your PC the game that come with card are somehow old they was realsed in 2004 . x1900xtx should be capable a lot more than those 2 game.so the game choice was really poor .overall x1900xtx accessories is really moderate.such expainsive card should be coupled with better accessories future . x1900xtx Design and Cooling System review our gigabyte x1900xtx is very ordinary it do not differ at all from the reference card The sticker near the pci express x16 slot indicate the version of the x1900xtx.the cooler is about covering the hole card. ram sink are placed over the memory chip. the gigabyte x1900xtx has 8 chip ddr 2 memory (the memory used was from sumsung). the memory installed was equal to 512 mb and clocked at 1550 mhz. those memory chip from sumsung are capable of more 1600mhz should be the stock setting.so the gigabyte x1900xtx come with inderclocked memory .gigabyte  is giving the x1900xtx nice boost in memory overclock about 50 MHz be garanted but this not enough for such priced card.we will check the overclocking potenciel of x1900xtx soon now lets check the gpu as the reference card the x1900xtx come clocked at 650 MHz nothink special x1900xtx Overclocking the gigabyte x1900xtx has toped out 670 for the gpu and 808 and 1620. as said abrove the x1900xtx Is top end graphic card from ati so overclocking result should not be so high . the memory has clocked well the 1600 MHz plus an additional 20 MHz  and only 20 MHz  for the gpu .the overall overclocking result with x1900xtx is really bad . the overclocking capability are very reduced I even say non existant x1900xtx performance review System used as we are using the top end ati card in our x1900xtx review we must inculde in our test the nvidia equivalent here is the system spec: AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 CPU (2x2.60GHz, 2x1MB L2 cache) ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe mainboard (Nvidia nForce4 SLI X16 chipset) for Nvidia GeForce graphics cards ASUS A8R32-MVP Deluxe mainboard (ATI CrossFire Xpress 3200 chipset) for ATI Radeon graphics cards OCZ PC3200 Platinum EL DDR SDRAM (2 x 1GB, CL2-3-2-5) wester degital raptor hard disk drive (Serial ATA-150, 16MB buffer) Creative SoundBlaster Audigy 2 sound card Enermax  620W power supply (ELT620AWT, 620W) Microsoft Windows XP Pro SP2 with DirectX 9.0c ATI Catalyst 6.4 Nvidia ForceWare 84.21 x1900xt 3D Shooters performance review Battlefield 2 benchmark The performance of the x1900xtx are very similar to the 7900gtx. borth card provide enough fps to play the game with with higherst setting 1600/1200 and maintain good performance The x1900xtx leave the lead on this test it get beaten by over 20 fps at 1024/786 resolution with is quite a lot .  but the card still provding enough fps for good game play. The game is based on opengl and and stencil shadows . this may explique the nvidia lead . Doom 3 benchmark another opengl game. doom has alwais been better performer with nvidia card . also we should note the nvidia driver witch are more optimized for open gl application. the x1900xtx has been beaten by less than 10 % . the average frame rate is pretty similar for nvidia 7900gtx card Far Cry benchmark and finally here the x1900xtx take the lead.. note that the geforce nv 7 gpu do not support Antialiasing and hdr . The x1900xtx loose with higher resolution . the SM3.0 is implemented in far cry so there is nice boost in the performance for nvidia card x1900xtx average here is about 10 to 15 fps lower than the nvdia 7900gtx card witch about 15% of performane lost.nvdida card 7900gtx still in the lead in average of all previews benchmark FEAR benchmark This game play Despite the huge number of complex shader-based special effects The x1900xt  get the lead here only in 1600/1200 resolution but the frame rate is somewhere between 25/51 fps so it is pretty low for such high end card . the 1024/786 is optimal resoltuion for those card performance to enjoy .or u can turn of the Antialiasing for better frame rate at the 1600 / 1200 level Quake 4 performance Despite full-screen antialiasing and OpenGL, the Gigabyte Radeon X1900 XTX and Gigabyte GeForce 7900 GTX have the same performance in a normal gaming situation with lots of shots and action. Their average performance is over 100fps in all the resolutions. The minimum of speed is quite high, so you won’t be disappointed when playing Quake 4 on a top-end graphics card. x1900xtx The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion performance In dungeons and closed environments in general it is important that the graphics card be able to effectively process pixel shaders as well as lighting and shadowing. The advantages of the Radeon X1900 architecture show up in a rather peculiar way here: the average performance of the Gigabyte Radeon X1900 XTX differs but slightly from that of the Gigabyte GeForce 7900 GTX, but the Radeon has a considerably higher minimum of speed! Considering Oblivionis not all about closed environments, we recommend you using a resolution lower than 1600x1200 even on flagships products from Nvidia and ATI to safeguard yourself against slowdowns. 3d mark Benchmarks Futuremark 3DMark05 In the total score chart Gigabyte X1900 XTX outperforms its brother based on G71 GPU by 527 points.Those are just Synthetic Benchmarks we have already seen that the gaming performance of the nvidia card (7900gtx) is about 10-15% better than the x1900xtx card . here is another good exemple that show that those synthetic benchmark still just  number the real life performance can deffer a lot . Futuremark 3DMark06 In the 3d mark 2006 the 7900gtx take the lead over our x1900xtx by about 142 mark x1900xt review conclusion The x1900xtx is solid card but I t is usually beaten by the 7900gtx. In particular, Gigabyte Radeon x1900 XTX demonstrates excellent performance in applications that require high shader processing speed and deal with complex mathematical calculations, but gives in in tasks with high fillrate requirements.
