As one of the features of the new operating system called fast boot BIOS developers have to make some optimizations in their products. In addition, Microsoft insists on supporting UEFI boot and secure (Secure Boot is used to protect the OS from modifications at boot time).
Besides working on UEFI for desktop systems, companies have to take orders for product development for mobile PCs, servers, and tablets. Among the clients who need the services of AMI, Insyde and Phoenix appear on HP, Lenovo, Dell, Acer, Asustek, Toshiba, Quanta, Compal, Wistron, Pegatron, Foxconn, Inventec, and others.
