AMD company will give a detailed report on the financial results for the second quarter on 19 July.
AMD revenue in the second quarter, will not increase by 3% but decrease by 11% compared to the first quarter. The reason for reducing AMD revenue is due to fall in demand for consumer solutions in China and Europe, as well as the decline in sales of finished computers, which affected the business of producing OEM-making.
The operating expenses for the second quarter declined by 8% compared with the planned value ($ 605 million). According to the manufacturer, this has been achieved as a result of measures to reduce costs.
