MediaTek company  in the first quarter 2013 will release a single-chip system with four processing cores, the camera controller with a resolution of up to 13 megapixels and adapter, cellular networks, WCDMA and TD-SCDMA.  In addition, the solution can play video in Full HD and display the image on the screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Single-system will be known as MT6588, a contractor for the production of chips MediaTek uses 28 nm technology.  Computational core SoC will operate at a frequency of 1.5 to 1.7 GHz, and as the main competitors for MT6588 will perform platform NVIDIA Tegra 3, Samsung Exynos 4 Quad and Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064. For systems of lower class in the first quarter 2013 MediaTek will present a dual-core version of MediaTek MT6588 - SoC MT6583.  In addition to the number of cores, and supported by the screen resolution ( MT6583 limited to 854 x 480 pixels) .
