Emerging markets of smartphones and tablet devices have an impact on demand in other areas, such as desktops, laptops and cameras. The share of the first two segments is split between Samsung and Apple. Resulting in imbalances in the ecosystem causing concern among manufacturers of electronic components associated with the possibility of a crisis in the industry.
Many of components suppliers have changed their production to more popular products ( smartphones and tablets ). At the same time, Samsung, for example, in their devices prefer to use their own production or parts ordered from Korean suppliers. Apple, by contrast, provides orders from Taiwanese manufacturers.
Despite the fact that many giants are trying to join the market of smartphones and tablets , including, for example, Microsoft and Google, in the near future, these companies will not be able to positively affect the ecosystem.
