Intel provides contract manufacturing services for chips only a limited number of third party developers.  As a rule, the cooperation in this field is based on mutually beneficial terms . While Intel spoke openly about a few clients, including developers mentioned programmable FPGA-matrix Achronix and Tabula, and Lilliputian Systems. Other candidates were discussed only at the rumors level . Intel chairman hinted that the list of customers who use the services of contract chips manufacturing,  can expand.  Some of the potential customers now use the services of other contractors. Intel officially denies competition with TSMC, contract manufacturing of chips for CPU giant is a small business.
