The first public demonstration of 3D-card PowerColor Devil HD7870 was held in early June at Computex, and TUL Corporation today officially introduced the product. According to the press release, the company is working on a video card cooler 25% more efficient and 18% quieter than reference.
Cooling system PowerColor Devil HD7870 has three fans, four copper heatpipes and an impressive size aluminum radiator. The power system is made on a 7 +1 +1 phase.
PowerColor Devil HD7870 belongs to the 3D-card factory-overclocked. Thus, the frequency of GPU products is 1100 MHz effective memory frequency is 5 GHz. For comparison, the GPU memory and reference - 1000 MHz and 4.8 GHz, respectively. GDDR5 memory capacity is 2 GB Memory Bus - 256 bits.
The video card is endowed with two 6-pin connectors for additional power supply and five video outputs - two DVI, two Mini DisplayPort and one HDMI. Overall dimensions of the video card can be expressed by 285 x 135 x 45 mm.
