We already talked many time about how AMD will increase the frequencies of four core servers processors barcelona. In the second quarter 2008 , the company intends to present the processors barcelona with 2.6 GHz frequency  witch relate to the energy class with TDP level not more than 120 W. But if  remain within the TDP limits  not above 68 W, then the frequency of four core barcelona processors must not exceed 2.0 GHz. We should note that AMD plans to release dual core processors generations barcelona, which will be used in servers systems.  The dual core barcelona models will be accessible already in this month, their announcement will takes place not earlier than the fourth quarter 2007. At 2.7 GHz  frequency , the TDP level of the dual core processors barcelona will be in the limits of 95 W. In order to lower the TDP value to 68 W, the processors frequency has to be retained in the limits of 2.4 GHz. Budapest processors ( socket AM2 ) with two cores and 2.8 GHz frequency will appear in the first or even the second quarter 2008.
