Israeli company Altair Semiconductor proudly announced that it has developed a modem for LTE networks to register in the new version HP Chromebook 11 - the first Chromebooks with integrated current-generation networks.
As acknowledged by the developers, the rejection of 3G in favor of pure LTE reduces the cost of the modem. Chromebook 11 with LTE support costs $ 379, and a two-year contract with U.S. operator Verizon Communications reduces the initial cost of the device to $ 279.
