In the eighties and nineties of the last century, the Japanese electronics was the best in the consumer market. Many brands then become legends. But now we regularly hear how Japanese TV manufacturers refuse development of certain technologies, freeze enterprise and think about their sale of assets outside the core business.
So Sharp has to think hard on what conditions to continue business in Europe. At least, according to the publication Reuters, the Japanese corporation is considering withdrawal from the local market of home appliances and electronics. Venture to manufacture LCD TVs in Poland can be sold Taiwanese company TPV Technology, together with the rights to use the trademark Sharp in the region. In addition, the Turkish company Vestel can get the rights to release appliances for the European market - all under the same brand Sharp. Officially, these rumors Sharp representatives declined to comment, explaining only that the company is considering various options to restructure its business in the European region.
