Apple will introduce a new smartphone iPhone 6, which will receive the big screen, camera with optical stabilization (OIS), support for NFC and other improvements. And it is based SoC platform A8 lies with increased frequency.
According to the newspaper, A8 processor will be based on a 64-bit architecture, and produced in compliance with the 20-nanometer manufacturing process. Apple has received the first batch SoC A8, manufactured on production lines Taiwanese company Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). Entering into a contract to supply processors with TSMC, the American company reduces its dependence on South Korean corporation Samsung, with which it has long-standing partnerships and competitive relationship.
