Asus also decided to enable them to increase the overclocking potential of Haswell-E in their motherboards. In particular, using a modified processor socket can increase the limit by changing the voltage of the processor core.
On the left circled contact groups, which are involved in their Asus motherboards to squeeze out of the Haswell processors additional overclocking potential. Of course, extreme athletes during their experiments using more risky modifications, and end users should be aware that even the minimum overclock is conjugate with the risk of damage to computer components.
