AMD updated its pricelist and not only reduced prices on eight-core FX processor and new models, but also reported a markdown of more affordable family processors with six and four cores. :
- FX-9590 (4.7 / 5.0 GHz, 220 W): $ 306 -> $ 220;
- FX-9370 (4.4 / 4.7 GHz, 220 W): $ 224 -> $ 204;
- FX-8370 (4.0 / 4.3 GHz, 125 W) -> $ 194 (debut);
- FX-8370E (3.3 / 4.3 GHz, 95 W) -> $ 194 (debut);
- FX-8350 (4.0 / 4.2 GHz, 125 W): $ 195 -> $ 173;
- FX-8320 (3.5 / 4.0 GHz, 125 W): $ 153 -> $ 142;
- FX-8320E (3.2 / 4.0 GHz, 95 W) -> $ 142 (debut).
FX-8150 processor (3.6 / 4.2 GHz, 125 W) and the FX-8120 (3.1 / 4.0 GHz, 125 W) is not cheaper, they cost $ 183 and $ 153, respectively. Among the six-core FX are two older models:
- FX-6350 (3.9 / 4.2 GHz, 125 W): $ 132 -> $ 122;
- FX-6300 (3.5 / 4.1 GHz, 95 W): $ 112 -> $ 101.
Since the FX-6200 (3.8 / 4.1 GHz) and FX-6100 (3.3 / 3.9 GHz) is still worth $ 132 and $ 112 they can be removed. Quad-core FX changed their prices are as follows:
- FX-4350 (4.2 / 4.3 GHz, 125 W): $ 122 -> $ 97;
- FX-4300 (3.8 / 4.0 GHz, 95 W): $ 108 -> $ 97.
Price processor FX-4170 ($ 122), FX-4130 ($ 101) and FX-4100 ($ 101) remains the same, which also hints at their willingness to leave the market.
