The second scenario assumes that only 10 multiprocessors (1280 CUDA cores and 80 texture units), in this case, the GeForce GTX 960 (76.1%) can range between GeForce GTX 780 (84.3%) and GeForce GTX 680 (65.8%). If we assume that the card will receive a 13 multiprocessors (1664 CUDA cores and 104 texture units) and memory bus width will be reduced to 192 bits and the number of ROP units - up to 48 pieces, the imaginary level of performance GeForce GTX 960 will drop to 71.6%. The last scenario - a 10 multiprocessors, 192-bit memory interface and 48 ROPs. As such, the GeForce GTX 960 will be identical to the GeForce GTX 680.
