Apple and Samsung smartphone manufacturers are adjusting their plans for 2015. They're going to focus on the budget smartphones and mid-priced models. This was reported today by the Taiwanese trade publication DigiTimes, citing sources in the supply chain.
According to sources, the majority of Chinese manufacturers, including ZTE, Huawei Device and Xiaomi, as well as Sony Mobile and LG Electronics is believed that the demand for high-end smartphones satisfy Samsung and Apple. And if earlier they considered the possibility of issuing a series of high-end smartphones to compete with the two companies, but now they have changed their strategy in favor of smartphones middle class to maintain their market share. Notes that this strategy will be applied mainly in China and spread to other emerging markets, where there is a growing demand for mobile devices.
It is noted that some manufacturers also plan to produce smartphones in the upper segment, but offering them at a lower price.
