A few days before the announcement of the new graphics solutions AMD public interest confined to two questions: what will be the price and the performance level of Fiji solutions.
First of all, senior product called Fury X (Fiji XT) will exist in two versions: with the well-studied by us liquid cooling system and cooling system with three fans. Both cards will retain 4,096 stream processors, 256 texture sampling units and 128 units rasterization. 4096-bit wide bus (effective value) will allow memory HBM 4 GB operate at a frequency of only 500 MHz, while providing bandwidth of 512 Gb / s. The frequency of the graphics processor in Fury X version with liquid cooling system will exceed 1050 MHz version with air cooling system limited to the frequency of 1050 MHz.
Finally, younger video series called Fury (Fiji Pro) will be also equipped with a cooling system with three fans, but AMD will permit partners to produce their own versions of this product only if use the water block. Fiji crystal will be easier to cool because of its large area.
Fiji Pro will retain a 3584 stream processors, texture sampling unit 224, but the number of ROP units will remain unchanged - 128 pieces. Memory clock type HBM and its volume will remain the same, but the GPU frequency will be reduced to 1000 MHz. Furthermore, Fury power consumption will settle no more than 275 W, whereas Fury X in both embodiments, the value of 300 watts. Related Products :
