A few days ago, Motorola has confirmed in its official blog that many of its smartphones in the near future will be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The first, as early as next week, will be able to update the reference Nexus 6, and then the rest, including the Moto X and Moto G.
Motorola did not give the exact timing of Android Marshmallow release for its smartphones, but it is obvious that they will depend on a number of factors, including the region. A list of smartphones that are sure to get the update, is shown below:
- Moto X Pure Edition third generation (2015);
- Moto X Style third generation (2015);
- Moto X Play (2015);
- Moto G third generation (2015);
- Moto X Pure Edition second generation for the US (2014);
- Moto X second generation in Latin America, Europe and Asia (2014);
- Moto G and Moto G with 4G LTE second generation (2014);
- DROID Turbo;
- Moto MAXX (2014);
- Moto Turbo (2014);
- Nexus 6.
The update does not include Moto X 2014 model year for mobile operators AT & T and Verizon. Related Products :
