In the recent days we observe the serious AMD activity in the sphere of hybrid processors and specialized accelerators. In principle, this is regular. The industry will hardly understand without the proper agitation future hybrid processors . Some time ago AMD tried to advance processors with 64- bit expansions, and now they became the integral part even of budget Intel and AMD products . Now the task is much more complex - it is necessary to convince software developers for the need to optimize their products under multicore processors and also under hybrid processors .

AMD is ready to create an open platform, whose efforts will be directed to the optimization of software under special features of different multicore processors. Programmers will obtain certain development program, which allow to work effectively on hybrid processors applications, in this case without requiring from developers large knowledge in processors architecture .

AMD Representative noted that the company plans in future to present several different accelerators core. Microsoft Company can become one of AMD partners in the initiative of programs adaptation under special hybrid processors features . Any of the interested companies can become a participant in this initiative.

The first hybrid processors (AMD) will use processors core generation Stars (Phenom).
