On Friday, a well-known activist investor - Carl Icahn  - in his Twitter said that Xerox has to be divided into two companies. Icahn  long been known for its provocative tactics.  He was famous for buying shares of the largest companies, such as Apple, Samsung, Micron, Dell, and others, and then in every way fit into their activities, seeking any means to increase the value of the shares and then sell them profitably.   This time, Icahn grabbed Xerox.  It is reported that in December 2015 it opened its stake in Xerox.  Apparently, it was sufficient to carry out its policies.  The current director of the company Xerox, Ursula Burns (Ursula Burns), confirmed the division of the company and specified that the movement in this direction have been made long before Icahn intervention . Over the past 12 months, shares of Xerox fell by about 30%.  After news of Xerox division  securities rose in price by 6%.  One of the companies will be engaged in the release of copiers.  The other will be engaged in services to corporate clients.  By the way, in the service of the company Icahn won three seats on the board of directors.  The separation should be completed by the end of this year.  Separately, both companies need to show revenue growth and profits.   Related Products :
