Linux Mint founder Clement Lefebvre has published a blog post interesting news developments concerning the future distribution. We are talking about the introduction of Linux Mint 18 unified applications X-Apps.
As you know, in every graphical environment has its own "native" applications. For example, Cinnamon default text editor is Gedit, in MATE - Pluma, in XFCE - Mousepad.
