The Finnish company Jolla is going through hard times: the tablet project was recently closed for Sailfish OS, and in consequence the company stop production of all mobile devices. After this, the company decided to focus on the development of the operating system Sailfish OS and licensing it to other manufacturers.
Now, at the international exhibition Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona was presented the first smartphone based on the operating system Sailfish OS.
Intex Aqua Fish received a 5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is based on a 4-core Qualcomm processor with a frequency of 1.3 GHz, which is complemented by 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. There is also a slot for memory cards microSD. Also, the new product has an 8-megapixel main and 2-megapixel front camera, modules Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS, port micro-USB 2.0 and supports 4G LTE network. The capacity of the built-in battery is 2500 mAh.
Jolla argues that Aqua Fish smartphone will go on sale in India in April this year. It will be available in orange and black colors. Related Products :
