In early March, we reported that MediaTek company is preparing to release a new processor MediaTek Helio X25 for mobile devices. It should be an improved version of the previously released Helio X20 chip. And we now know that Helio X25 will be exclusively for the new flagship smartphone Meizu Pro 6.
According to GSMArena, processor MediaTek Helio X25 has been created in cooperation with the Chinese company Meizu, which will receive the exclusive right to use it. It will be installed in the new smartphone Meizu Pro 6, which predict the presence of 6 GB of RAM and built-in storage to 128 GB in the maximum configuration.
As expected, MediaTek Helio X25 chip is an improved version of Helio X20. It consists of two core Cortex A72 processor with a clock frequency of 2.5 GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor and graphics with increased up to 850 MHz clock frequency. Despite this, the power consumption according to the manufacturer, remains at the same level.
