We have previously reported that the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 , which will be faster version of the current Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (MSM98996) will be made on 10-nanometer process technology. And now the publication Fudzilla reported that in compliance with similar standards will be released SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 828 and Snapdragon 830, which will hit the market this year.
Source publication argues that the use of 10-nanometer process technology will reduce energy consumption and transistors size . They will be also equipped with built-in LTE-modem X16 1 Gb / s to 4x20 MHz frequencies and speeds of up to 150 Mbit / s.
Single-chip platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 (MSM8998) will receive an improved GPU Adreno 540. It also will support memory 4 xLPDDR 4X and feature Qualcomm Quick Charge (SMB1351) fast charging. As for the chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 828, it will be Adreno 519 graphics and LTE-modem Qualcomm X12 (600 Mbit / s and 150 Mbit / s). Other features are still unknown.
Snapdragon 830 is a direct successor to the Snapdragon 820, Qualcomm and 828, probably will replace the Snapdragon 808 or Snapdragon 810. Both new processor will be presented in the fourth quarter this year, and the first mobile devices based on them will make their debut in the late first or early second quarter of next year.
