Members of the Australian team, led by Dinos22 set a record in the Unigine Heaven Xtreme, produced by two cooled by regular means GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition and CPU Core i7-6700K, overclocked quad-core in the time up to 6.6 GHz using liquid nitrogen.
The result, in DX 11 10164.63 points, a new absolute world record, and this is only the third case of overcoming 10 000 points.
Please note that a bunch of cards communicates using the old model SLI-bridge (flexible version). Judging by the screen capture, frequency cards could raise up 1807/1934/10000 MHz.
We add that the German reviewers significant progress was not achieved in the overclocking Asus GeForce GTX 1080 Strix OC Edition, and using a proprietary cooling system GPU frequency is only slightly higher than the 2GHz mark.
The Australian team returned to the same bundle of the video card GeForce GTX 980 Ti, which is overclocked to 1650/8000 MHz under liquid nitrogen, and CPU Core i7-6700K, which reached a milestone 6.6 GHz. The four new world records were obtained in the following disciplines:
- 66,066 points 3DMark06 ;
- 204,135 points 3DMark2001 the SE ;
- 84,337 points 3DMark05 ;
- 713,385 points Aquamark (two cards).
