MSI has introduced a line of graphics cards based on GeForce GTX 1070. Meet the MSI GeForce GTX Gaming in 1070 x 8G , GeForce GTX 1070 Sea Hawk and GeForce GTX 1070 Aero .
Let us first consider the GTX 1070 Gaming X 8G. As you might guess from the name, this card is designed for gaming systems and is able to satisfy the most demanding users. The highest performance mode (OC Mode) graphics processor runs at a frequency of 1607/1797 MHz, and 8 GB of GDDR5 video memory with a frequency of 8108 MHz. As the developers say, the best balance of performance and noise level has been achieved in the Gaming Mode operation at frequencies 1582/1771 MHz. Finally, when it is necessary to minimize the noise from the fan, the card can operate in Silent Mode mode with standard frequencies 1506/1683 MHz. In the latter two cases the video memory running at 8008 MHz. Operation Modes can be controlled via a special application.
The new product has already used a known cooling system Twin Frozr VI with Torx 2.0 fans. The special features of video card include Zero Frozr technology, which involves disabling the fan at low load, until the temperature reaches 60 degrees Celsius. Handling job as fan and LED backlight, will be possible through a special utility.
MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Sea Hawk received the same operating conditions, with the same configuration as the clock frequencies that is X. But the cooling system at the Sea Hawk is completely different. Here was used hybrid cooling system, which was developed in collaboration with Corsair. It consists of a high-speed pump with a copper water block ground 120mm radiator and shroud radial fan which blows subsystem power elements and memory chips. It is worth noting that the same cooling system installed on the MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Sea Hawk.
Finally it is worth to talk about the 1070 GTX Aero. This card is very similar to the reference version of the GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition, but most likely will cost much cheaper. MSI has announced two versions of the Aero graphics cards. The first will be different factory overclocked to 1531/1721 MHz, while the other version of the Aero graphics card will have a sampling frequency of 1506/1683 MHz. The frequency of video memory in both cases will be 8000 MHz. Related Products :
