Gigabyte company is preparing to release a graphics card GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming . The manufacturer even demonstrated it last week at the exhibition Computex 2016. Now Gigabyte officially introduced the new product.
As we have previously mentioned, GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming is based on a custom printed circuit board, which was developed by the Gigabyte itself, as well as this card is equipped with a new cooling system WindForce Stack X3. In addition to the three 100-mm fans of unusual shape, it includes a large aluminum heatsink pierced by six composite heatpipes (see. The image below), which have a direct contact with the GPU.
Note that video card comes complete with a panel for installation in a 5.25-inch drive bay, on which there are a pair of USB 3.0 ports and HDMI. This panel is designed for easy connection of virtual reality headsets. On the back of the video card has DVI, HDMI ports and three DisplayPort, and on the opposite side of the board there are a couple of additional connectors HDMI, and are connected to the 5.25-inch panel.
GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming will be equipped with new SLI bridges that were developed by Gigabyte based on the new NVIDIA bridges, and in addition to providing better capacity, it is equipped with adjustable LED backlighting. Dimensions of the video card are 295 x 55 x 111 mm. Related Products :
