Almost immediately after the release of desktop graphics cards based on a Pascal architecture began to appear the rumors about their mobile versions. Thus, in early July it was reported Clevo laptop with some graphics on the GPU architecture in Pascal with 2048 CUDA cores. Now, our colleagues from BenchLife and PurePC brought some clarity to the account of Pascal mobile video cards.
Judging by the screenshots GPU-Z utility, the mobile version of GeForce GTX 1070 graphics processor has received a 2048 CUDA cores, which operates at a frequency of 1443/1645 MHz. . Mobile GeForce GTX 1070 got 8 GB of GDDR5 memory, which is connected by a 256-bit bus, and operates at a frequency of 8008 MHz. More important to note that GPU-Z utility incorrectly identified the number of texture units in GeForce GTX Mobile 1070, which should be 128 pieces.
In turn, the mobile GeForce GTX 1060 has received almost the same features as its desktop version. Mobile version of the GeForce GTX 1060 graphics processor is based on the 1280 CUDA cores, which operates at a frequency of 1405/1671 MHz, while the GPU desktop version works with the frequencies of 1506/1709 MHz. Mobile graphics card as well as a board equipped with 6 GB of GDDR5 video memory, which are connected by a 192-bit bus, and operate at a frequency of 8008 MHz.
Unfortunately, the mobile version of GeForce GTX 1080 still remains a mystery, and yet it can be done only speculation whether it will get a full version of the GPU GP104, or "cut-down", and whether it will be equipped with memory GDDR5X.
