In October, Apple introduced new MacBook Pro laptops with touch OLED-panel Touch Bar and fingerprint scanner Touch ID. Apple is optimistic about their sales in the fourth quarter 2016, and therefore increased orders for components for the new laptops. It is reported by the Taiwanese publication DigiTimes, citing its own sources in the supply chain.
According to sources, Apple is actively increasing orders for new laptops MacBook Pro on a background of high demand. They also added that the MacBook shipments in 2017 will remain at the same level as in 2016.
The sources pointed out that Apple originally did not intend to place large orders for the new MacBook Pro models, but presenting them and gauge the reaction of users on new products, I decided to increase the volume of the issue. In addition, the shipment of the new MacBook Pro stayed on quarter due to production problems with suppliers of batteries, loops and keyboards.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities predicts MacBook sales growth next year. This will contribute to a decrease in prices on the MacBook, as well as the emergence of new models supporting up to 32 GB of RAM.
Ming-Chi Kuo expects that Apple will lower prices on the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro in the second half of 2017. Around the same time, Apple will release updated MacBook Pro notebooks with 32 GB of RAM.
