Presented this fall iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus became the first smartphone Apple, devoid of a 3.5 mm audio jack. According to Apple's footsteps decided to go to the South Korean company Samsung. Its next flagship will also be deprived of the 3.5-millimeter headphone jack.
According to the publication GSMArena, Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone does not receive a 3.5 mm audio jack. A headphone jack USB port offer users a Type-C. This means that to connect the 3.5-mm headphone jack to the Samsung Galaxy S8 will have to use a special adapter.
According to sources, the rejection of a 3.5-mm audio jacks will allow Samsung to not only make the Galaxy S8 even thinner, but also to establish a more capacious battery.
The new flagship is clad in a case made of durable materials and will be released in two versions. One of them will get a 5.7-inch display, while the other - 6.2-inch. Both the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be equipped with RGB Super AMOLED display with a resolution Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) instead of AMOLED-panel Diamond PenTile, which is installed in the Galaxy S7.
As expected, Samsung Galaxy S8 will be presented in February at MWC 2017 and will go on sale in March.
