Three leading Chinese manufacturer put on the market in 2017 more than half a billion smartphones. We are talking about Huawei, Vivo and Oppo.
According to industry sources, in 2017 three of these Chinese manufacturers have released a total of more than 500 million smartphones. So, Huawei's plans to sell in the next year 170 million smartphones, the Oppo - 160 million and Vivo to supply about 150 million of its smartphones. Thus, their share will have one-third of the total world supply of smartphones. High Huawei smartphone shipments volumes, Oppo and Vivo not only lead to a drastic change in the market shares of the main players in the global mobile market, but also will affect the profitability of smartphone manufacturers and suppliers of components for them.
Also, publication sources pointed out that the results of 2016 Huawei will provide its 126 million smartphones, accounting for about 90% of the target set by the leadership.
As Vivo and Oppo, they will focus on enhancing the supply of high-performance smartphone middle class to meet growing demand in emerging markets.
