When Blizzard implemented the cooperative in StarCraft II, it did not know how popular this mode would be. And the secret is really simple: people like to perform tasks with friends and in a relaxed atmosphere. But, alas, the company does not allocate enough resources for the development of the joint regime, as a result, new tasks appear at best once every few months. Therefore, the release of each new assignment becomes a small sensation for the fans of the game.
So, a new joint task is called "Dead in the Night". This mission is based on the mission "Epidemic" from the campaign Wings of Liberty: two comrades need to neutralize the foci of infection on one of the planets of the Dominion.
As in the original mission of WoL, the gameplay of the "Dead in the Night" is divided into two phases: night and day. Players need to quickly build a defense and restrain the nightly onslaughts of those infected, creeping out from under the ground. As soon as the day begins, the infected are no longer a threat, and all pockets of the epidemic can be safely burned. The daily cycle on the planet is very short, so the night / day phases last only a few minutes and often take turns.
The task "Dead in the Night" is very different from other joint assignments in StarCraft II. This is a very passive and enjoyable game that can last indefinitely, unlike other tasks where you are constantly hurried and limited in time.
I wish Blizzard will create new similar assignments. Related Products :
