Since 2015, NVIDIA has been building a new headquarters building, which has received the conditional name Endeavor, according to the Japanese edition of 4Gamer.net , whose representatives in the international delegation of journalists had the opportunity to go on an excursion to this construction site. It is planned that the building worth $ 370 million will be completed by November this year, and the total area of about 50 thousand square meters will accommodate approximately 2,500 employees. As noted by Japanese colleagues, his office will not have a general director in this building - he will be able to work in various premises distributed over the new and old buildings. The latter, by the way, will continue to function even after the move of the staff to the new headquarters.
The two-fllor building is not only beautiful, but also functional - employees of different departments should spend on moving to colleagues a minimum amount of time. On the third floor there will be a library, an assembly hall, public catering facilities and recreation areas. By the way, the meeting rooms are surrounded by glass, which excludes leakage of information through audio channels. In other respects, the working areas have a predominantly open layout.
A large area of glazing allows a significant part of the day to dispense with artificial lighting. In the roof of the building there are matt triangular windows, through which sunlight penetrates into the premises of the headquarters. The pipeline, laid under the floor, can be used both for heating the rooms and for cooling - it circulates the water, which is given the right temperature.
In the basement there is a parking for employees. In addition, the headquarters building occupies only half of the site acquired by NVIDIA for construction, so that part of the remaining territory can be occupied by an open parking lot for visitors.
For the first time, the access system inside the headquarters building will work on plastic cards, but over time it will have to be replaced by a biometric system that allows you to recognize faces. Related Products :
