We already reported about the overclocking potential of core 2 Duo processors stepping E0 and we already noted that in sale the given processors is already available . At least, for Asian enthusiasts it was possible to obtain several box processors on the new stepping. According to the official graph, in the second-half of July Intel will release the processors core 2 Duo e8400 (3.0 GHz) and Core 2 Duo e8500 (3.16 GHz), based on E0 stepping . If we considers that they possess a comfortable for overclock multiplier and attractive prices ($163 and $183), overclocker has to manifest a special interest. In Japanese stores those processors already appeared . The processors core 2 Duo e8400 (3.0 GHz) and Core 2 Duo e8500 (3.16 GHz) E0 stepping have the markings SLB9J and SLB9K . Note that after recent Intel processors price reduction the cheapest core 2 Duo e8xxx Representative with high frequency was core 2 Duo e8400 (3.0 GHz).
