POSTER: computer news   ||   PEBBLE 2, TIME 2 AND THE CORE PEBBLE RAISED MORE THAN 9 MILLION ON KICKSTARTER

DATE:2016-05-30

On Kickstarter this week launched a campaign to raise funds for the launch of three new products Peblle.  In particular, the company, which at the very beginning of its activity has resorted to crowdfunding now raises money for Pebble smart watch 2 and Time 2, and compact smart device Pebble Core.

Within days Pebble on Kickstarter managed to collect nine times more than the amount that was required initially - 9 million to 1 million.

Time 2 is a smart watch in steel, equipped with heart rate sensor, a microphone and a color screen electronic paper  They are compatible with smartphones based on iOS and Android, as well as Pebble 2, which have a pulse sensor, a monochrome display and a microphone.  Pebble is also equipped with 2 built-in battery, which will provide up to 10 days of battery life without recharging, as well as the support of more than 13 thousand programs for smart watch.  Pebble 2 and Time 2 combined the capabilities of smart watches and fitness tracker.  They are able to track the user's physical activity, and to display a notification schedule, to determine the pulse through an optical heart rate monitor.  In addition, the clock can withstand submersion under water to a depth of 30 meters.

As for Pebble Core, it's a fitness keychain with GPS support, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.  It also has 4 GB of storage, built-in battery for up to 5.5 hours of battery life on a single charge when playing music.  You can connect conventional and wireless headphones.

The retail price of Pebble 2, Time 2 and Pebble Core will be $ 129, $ 199 and $ 99 respectively.  But people who have supported Pebble on a Kickstarter campaign, can order them at a discount.  Deliveries of the smart watch manufacturer promises to begin this fall.

POSTER: computer news   ||   AMD DEMONSTRATED THE POSSIBILITY OF POLARIS 10 IN DOOM QUADHD

DATE:2016-05-30

Earlier today we wrote that recently passed the closed press event under the name "Polaris Tech Day" in Macao, Special Administrative Region of China, in which, apparently, AMD is telling a limited number of journalists on their preparing to release graphics cards.  Among other things, AMD showed Polaris generation graphics card in action.

system was used with a graphics card called  Radeon RX 480, and the demonstration took place in the game Doom, with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, using the API OpenGL and AMD FreeSync technology.  And the card was able to provide an average rate of more than 60 frames per second.  Our colleague from PCWorld noted that used to demonstrate Lenovo Y27F monitor has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a frame rate of 144 Hz, so "zoom" resolution is likely to use a virtual ultra-high resolution (Virtual Super Resolution or VSR).

Thus, AMD unintentionally confirmed that Polaris 10 will be used in a video card level Radeon R9 x80, which means the cost of new items in the range of 250 to 300 US dollars.  Also worth noting is that the new product has been able to provide a higher frame rate than the Radeon R9 380X at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.  It seems that Polaris 10 in terms of performance will take place between the Radeon R9 390X and R9 Nano.

Finally, we note that most likely Radeon RX 480 is not a final name, and was used only because AMD has not yet decided whether or not this card called Radeon R9 480 and R9 480X.

POSTER: computer news   ||   THE FIRST IMAGES OF NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1070 NON-REFERENCE VERSIONS

DATE:2016-05-29

Yesterday NVIDIA's partners have officially presented their own versions of video cards GeForce GTX 1080. At the moment, only published picture cards from Inno3D and Galax (formerly Galaxy; known under the brand KFA2).

Inno3D company will build its  GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card on the PCBs own design.  There is a version with cooling systems iChill X3 and iChill X4, which the manufacturer  also used in the GeForce GTX 1080. It is noted that the GPU in both updates will be factory overclocked.

Galax also uses in its GeForce GTX 1070 custom PCB.  This card will receive a large cooling system with three fans and LED backlight, which, apparently, is a modified version of the coolant used in the GeForce video card GTX 980 Galax SOC.

Finally, we note that, as reported by our Western colleagues, tomorrow,  on May 30 will be published early reviews of GeForce GTX 1070, however, most likely, only its standard version Founders Edition.

POSTER: computer news   ||    ZOTAC GEFORCE GTX LIGHTED NAME TI 1080

DATE:2016-05-29

ZOTAC company on its utility  FireStorm accidentally screenshot the name GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.  Recall, this mythical card, according to some sources , combine the graphics processor GP102 generation Pascal and memory GDDR5X or GDDR5.

Of course, indicated in the screenshot 1344/5650 MHz frequency can hardly be attributed to this video card.
