Apple Inc. announces the 2016 updated laptop MacBook Pro will be thinner and lighter and thus receive  OLED-screen with touch panel above the keyboard and a fingerprint scanner Touch ID, which is now equipped with an iPad and iPhone smartphones.   According to the analyst, the updated MacBook Pro is available in two versions, one   will receive a 13-inch display, and the other -  15-inch.  Its release is scheduled for the fourth quarter  2016. IBM company has two factory - specific and general.  The first factory can only handle a 200 mm substrate, but unlike the lines installed at the factory 300 mm was optimized for wafer processing in a fabrication process using a material such as germanium.  The combination of silicon and germanium is well established as the base for the production of circuits operating in the radio frequency range and it was cheaper than used for the same purposes as gallium arsenide.  Last year, IBM's factories were transferred to GlobalFoundries.   According to  press release GlobalFoundries company is now available for customers new 130-nm process using silicon and germanium.  Process technology SiGe 8XP replace the previous, represented by SiGe 8HP.  Due to the reduction of technological standards and by developing improved bipolar geterotransistors maximum operating frequency could be increased by 25% to reach 340 GHz.  Thus the new process is suitable for the production of a wide range of radio frequency solutions: automotive radars, satellite communications systems, base stations up to support the fifth-generation networks and other telecommunications equipment, which requires work in the radio frequency range. Asus has announced the release of a new hybrid laptop ZenBook Flip UX360CA.  Novelty is equipped with 13.3-inch touch screen that can be opened 360 degrees, allowing  to use the device as a tablet.  Asus says that the new product is the first in a line of hybrid laptop stylish Ultrabook Zenbook. As mentioned above, ZenBook Flip UX360CA received a 13.3-inch display, which is based on IPS-type panels with a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels.  The novelty lies in the aluminum case, and the display cover has a texture in the form of concentric circles.  The laptop is available in gray and gold colors. Depending on the configuration, ZenBook Flip UX360CA can be equipped with one of the following processors Intel Core M generation Skylake: m7-6Y75, m5-6Y54 or m3-6Y30.  Volume LPDDR3 RAM can be 4 or 8 GB.   Novelty has dimensions of 323 x 220 x 13.9 mm and weighs only 1.3 kg.  ZenBook Flip UX360CA is equipped with a battery of 54 Wh, which, according to the developers, should provide about 12 hours of battery life.  Also, a hybrid laptop is equipped with modules Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1, port USB 3.1 Type-C and two USB 3.0, video output micro HDMI, network port, card reader and a 3.5-mm audio jack.
