Today's electric cars remain expensive for the majority of motorists.  They suffer from a small stock of progress on a single charge, fear of frost and are dependent on poorly developed network of charging stations.  At least in most countries the infrastructure is not quite ready for mass exploitation of electric vehicles.  However, the larger becomes the electric vehicle, the easier it will be the production technology associated components.  The cost of lithium-ion batteries have already decreased by 65% since 2010, and by 2030 it will drop even three times. In the next year and a half Tesla Motors and General Motors will bring to market electric cars, capable to pass on a single charge  300 km, and their value in the market of the United States based on local incentives and subsidies will not exceed $ 30 000 for the base configuration.  And yet, according to the authors of the forecast, up to 2025, while maintaining low oil prices, the cost of owning a conventional car with an internal combustion engine on carbon fuels will be lower than in the case of the electric vehicle.  If the cost of a barrel of oil exceeds $ 20 over the next decade, the massive expansion of electric vehicles will be delayed until the beginning of the 2030s.  Analysts Bloomberg expect that by 2040, about a quarter operated passenger vehicles in the world will move on electric.  And among the new vehicles offered for sale, the share of electric cars will reach 35%. By the way, in 2040, the annual volume of sales  electric vehicles will reach 41 ml Pcs. Jon Peddie Research experts summarize the results of the fourth quarter  2015 for the computer graphics market - both discrete and integrated.  Traditionally, the market is divided between three players: Intel, AMD and NVIDIA.  The first has a leading position solely due to the prevalence of its own processors with integrated graphics.  If we look at the model, not related to the server segment,  99% Intel processor is the graphics system. AMD company , the figure is somewhat lower - 66%, and integrated chipsets it still delivers. According to the study authors, the graphics market is recovering ahead of the PC segment, which still shows only tentative signs of stabilization.  In the annual comparison  desktop graphics solutions sales volumes decreased by 9%, mobile - 17%.  Compared with the previous quarter, sales volumes of graphical solutions as a whole grew by 2.4%.  Discrete graphics solutions has registered 31.28% in personal computers, an increase  of 1.34%.  PC market as a whole grew by 2.01% compared with the third quarter, but decreased by 10.27% in the annual comparison.  The volume of discrete graphics cards sales for the quarter decreased by 4.87%. AMD Company in the fourth quarter was able to increase sales volumes of graphical solutions by 5.2% compared with the third quarter.  Desktop processors hybrid brand sold 4.3% less, but demand in the mobile segment increased by 30.3%.  Desktop AMD discrete graphics solutions were sold at 6.69% better than the previous quarter, the mobile discrete graphics solutions have reduced sales volumes by 1.3%.  Accordingly, AMD was able to increase its quarterly share of the graphics market from 11.5% to 11.8%, but the year before its position was 1.9 percentage points stronger. Characteristically, under the pressure of discrete graphics, Intel market share has fallen from 72.8% to 71.6%.  However, in the annual comparison, it grew by 0.2%.  In the quarterly comparison,  Intel sold 6.1% more than desktop processors, and in the mobile segment, the fall in sales volumes did not exceed 1.7%.  On average, Intel was able to increase sales volumes of graphics solutions at 0.7%. Reports a record amount of revenue NVIDIA company , as the research shows Jon Peddie Research, in the last quarter has sold 7.56% less discrete GPU desktop-class than the previous quarter.  In the mobile segment, the demand for gaming notebooks lifted sales volumes of the respective brands of GPU by 34.2%.  This allowed the company to get a gain of graphics solutions sales volumes by 8.4%.  Its market share is increased from 15.7% to 16.6%, while the annual increase in the range was even more noticeable - 1.6 percentage points. Collectively, graphics solutions manufacturers sold 6.57% more digital products than in the previous quarter, but the annual sales volumes decreased compared to 7.01%.  In the period from 2014 to 2017 the average rate of a discrete graphics sales volume reduction should amount to 4% per year.  On average, every PC now accounts for 1.39 GPU.  Fifteen years ago, this figure does not exceed 1.2 pieces.
