Taiwanese chip maker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC), which produces A9 processors for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, published a financial report for the fourth quarter 2015 and for the year as a whole.  The past year was extremely successful for the company and its financial results exceeded the most optimistic expectations.  A During 2015 TSMC gained 306.57 billion New Taiwan dollars (about $ 9.15 billion) net profit, up 16.2% more than in 2014.  This is a record figure for the lifetime of the company.  Consolidated sales for the past 12 months increased by 10.6% to 843,497 billion Taiwan dollars (about $ 25.2 billion), which is also a record for the manufacturer.  $ 3.7 billion in annual revenue TSMC brought a contract with Apple. This year, the Chinese smartphone market will enter a new development stage .  Many companies have created sub-brands to improve their market position, whereas now, on the contrary, they start to get rid of these sub-brands and the search for new strategic partners. Chinese companies are actively creating sub-brands: from Huawei - Honor, from ZTE - Nubia, at Gionee - INUI, at Lenovo - ZUK etc.  But, as noted by the source, in addition to Honor none of sub-brand is successful.  For example, under the name Nubia is sold only a quarter of smartphones ZTE, so one-third of the shares were sold Nubia Suning Chinese company for about $ 293.5 million dollars.
