Overclocking low-end models Skylake is based on motherboards chipsets  Intel H170 and B150. If we go back to the chipset Intel Z170, Skylake can be overclocked by increasing the frequency of the base generator without an integrated graphics processor, lower performance in  AVX extensions, and disabling the power-saving factor and management features in processors series . Tom's Hardware argued that the promised implementation of ASRock overclocking younger Skylake motherboards with chipsets Intel H170 and B150 will bring another limitation  - processors will not be able to take advantage of Hyper-Threading. In fact, the virtual  processors core will be disabled, leaving only the being physical. MSIis not planning to produce motherboard chipsets Intel H170 and B150, designed for overclocking , but if the demand for them will be high enough, it will reflect on the possibility.
