Very soon  Far Cry series will go to the Stone Age. Ubisoft yesterday reported about the requirements.

The minimum system requirements:

Processor: Intel Core i3-550 or AMD Phenom II X4 955 or equivalent;

4 GB of RAM;

graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or Radeon HD 5770 AMD;

20 GB of free space on the drive;

64-bit operating system Windows 7, 8.1 or 10.

Recommended system requirements:

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-2600K or AMD FX-8350 or equivalent;
  • 8 GB of RAM;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 and AMD Radeon R9 280X;
  • 20 GB of free space on the drive;
  • 64-bit operating system Windows 7, 8.1 or 10.
  • As usual, no optimal requirements. The minimum system requirements:

Today at CES 2016 Google and Lenovo announced the development of the first smartphone platform Project Tango.  The company also demonstrated a working prototype of a smartphone, which in real time can create a 3D-model of the world, as well as to impose on them digital objects.  The smartphone will be released in the summer of 2016 and will cost $ 500, and its final version will get a screen diagonal of 6.5 inches.

In addition, Google, together with Lenovo have launched an initiative that aims to support the development of interesting games and applications related to technology 3D-scanning the surrounding space.  Developers can submit applications until February 15, then Google will select the best ideas and provide them with funding and support to bring them to augmented reality.  New applications for augmented reality will be available in the new smartphone.

Note that Intel has already started taking orders for similar smartphone / developer kit with 3D-camera RealSense, which also supports the technology Project Tango.  This unit can be ordered for $ 400.

Within  the CES 2016 in Las Vegas were presented not only new items of smart devices and innovative solutions in the field of entertainment.  There were a lot of new products and software.

In the report, director of global development in the YouTube Content Kinkl Robert said that the service will be supported by HDR-video.  

A small educational program - HDR (variant also occurs HDRI - High Dynamic Range Imaging, an image with a greater range of brightness), a technology that allows you to "pull" the brightness of the image beyond the technological capabilities of the camera.  Modern digital picture based on an 8-bit integer formats and images have a ratio of the brightest to the least bright as the 3000: 1, whereas the eye can detect the brightness in the range 1000000: 1 or more.  That is a difference of several orders of magnitude.
