The popularity of computer games is growing, it is this segment that supports component manufacturers who are horrified to watch the sales of personal computers fall.  Meanwhile, manufacturers of motherboards and video cards are ready not only to earn on game lovers, but also to share money with them.  For example,  Asus company , which announces the beginning of the participants selection  in the international tournament for games Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which was named ROG Masters 2017.   Twenty professional game teams during the event will share a prize fund of up to $ 500,000. Starting in May 2017, teams from around the world will compete in a series of 30 qualifying rounds first in their countries and then in four qualifying regional tournaments (the Europe region , The Middle East and Africa, America, the Asia-Pacific region and China).  Then the winners of these open competitions will compete with professional gamers for a place in the Grand Final, which will be held in November 2017. The ROG Masters 2017 Championship starts with open local qualifying events, registration for which began on June 5 as part of the ROG Masters Open Qualifiers RUSSIA.  Qualification was decided to be made open to provide an opportunity for all novice gamers to make their first steps in the world of e-sports and give them a chance to perform on an equal footing with well-known professional teams.  The Russian qualification will be the first stage of the selection for the world championship from the Republic of Gamers and will be held from June 13 to July 30.  Participants will have to pass two qualification stages, and the four best teams in each game discipline will be able to go to the LAN final, which will be held in Moscow. Eight teams, 4 best in Dota 2 and 4 teams in CS: GO, will play one slot in EMEA regional qualifications (Europe, Africa and the Middle East).  In addition, participants in the LAN Finals will receive gaming accessories from ASUS ROG in accordance with the occupied places:   * 1 place - slot for regional final ROG Masters Regional Qualifier EMEA and 5 multimedia headsets ROG Centurion 7.1; * 2 place - 5 professional keyboards ROG Claymore Core; * 3 and 4 place - 5 gaming mice ROG Gladius. Almost every day,  overclockers prove that the Intel Skylake-X processors, even with the available number of cores, can stir up the ratings of extreme overclocking.  German enthusiast Der8auer this week took up an engineering sample of the Core i7-7820X processor with eight cores, which was cooled with liquid nitrogen.  Overclocker also used the thermal interface Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, optimally suitable for overclocking using ultra-low temperatures.
