Comparing the mobile processors Raven Ridge with Carrizo and Bristol Ridge, AMD says about the increase in the performance of the computing cores by 50%, the increase in graphics performance by 40%, as well as the reduction of energy consumption by 50%. AMD technical director Mark Papermaster  made a big contribution to the event, which outlined what generations of processors and graphics solutions the company is going to produce, and by what technology standards, in the next three years.  As AMD representatives noted in early interviews, Zen architecture can survive about four iterations through 2020 inclusive.  In fact, it should be updated to one degree or another every year. First of all, we should wait for the appearance of processors with Zen architecture  , using a more advanced version of the 14-nm production technology - it is designated as "14nm +".  Most likely, we will see these processors in the next year, as the rest of the current AMD will spend on expanding the range of available processors with the Zen architecture. Processors with the Zen 2 architecture   will be produced already on 7-nm technology.  Since what year, it is not specified - much will depend on the migration schedule for the 7-nm process technology company GlobalFoundries, although this generation of hybrid processors for sure can be produced and TSMC, or Samsung.  Processors with the Zen 3 architecture will appear closer to 2020, they will master a more advanced version of the 7-nm process technology.
