Apparently, the Taiwan technology giant Asus is currently working on a new smartphone.  It is seen in the benchmark GFXBench, which gave us an idea of its technical characteristics. As reported by our colleagues from GizmoChina , the new Asus smartphone with model number X00ID is tested in GFXBench.  The benchmark site says that the tested smartphone is based on the eight-core Qualcomm processor with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz.  Given that the controller is responsible for the Adreno 505 controller, most likely it's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chip. The amount of RAM is 3 GB, and the built-in memory is 32 GB. One of the chips Asus X00ID will be a dual main camera, capable of shooting 4K-video.  It consists of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors.  For selfi and video communication, an 8-megapixel front camera will be provided on the front side. Also, the Asus X00ID will receive a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels (HD) and will ship with the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system on board.  It will acquire GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Under what name will the Asus X00ID appear on the market and when it happens, it is still unknown.  It is possible that before us is one of the representatives of the new series of smartphones Asus ZenFone 4, whose debut is expected in May 2017. Belarusian overclocker Gumanoid from Belarus OC Team used liquid nitrogen to overclock the AMD K6-2 + processor from the dfault frequency of 550 MHz to 810 MHz.  This modest achievement , is the absolute world record of overclocking the processor in the performance of Socket 7. The maximum possible frequency of processors in the Socket 7 form factor can be 840 MHz, at a frequency of the base generator of 140 MHz and a multiplier of 6x, but nobody has yet succeeded in obtaining such a result. The statistics of extreme overclocking of AMD Ryzen processors are still not so rich to exclude the periodic appearance of results that can break out of the general trend.  French overclocker Orion24  attempt to gain a foothold in the rating Cinebench R15 finished in third place in the model competition, and on the eighth - among all processors with six cores. To get the result of 1757 points in Cinebench R15, he had to overclock the Ryzen 5 1600X processor to 5173 MHz with liquid nitrogen.  All six cores and twelve streams remained active. Colleagues from the German site 3DCenter.de from the beginning of the decade are conducting public opinion polls, timed to the debut of new processors, and the yield of AMD Ryzen 5 forced them to declare a record high positive assessment of this event.  At least, none of the generation of processors that participated in the poll questioned before such a high positive rating - 83.9%. Senior Ryzen 7 in this ranking remained on the second place with a positive rating of 74.6%, and the third place was replaced by AMD processors presented in January 2011 Intel Sandy Bridge.  Interesting and ranking on the interest in buying: 55.9% of respondents are ready to buy Ryzen 7, Ryzen 5 processors are in second place with 53.8%, on the third - all the same Intel Sandy Bridge with 51.4%.  In the last poll concerning the Ryzen 5 processors, 1,819 respondents participated, and it was conducted in April of this year. By the way, the weakness of Ryzen 5 in games is mentioned as the main drawback of processors, which influences the positivity of perception.  Also confusing German consumers are high prices in local retail , and limited overclocking potential of new products.  As the authors of the survey explain, by now the prices in German stores have normalized, so the number of people dissatisfied with this characteristic of the Ryzen 5 processors has certainly decreased.
