Developers from Respawn Entertainment are not going to turn off the support of the network shooter Titanfall 2. Moreover, the project in the near future will acquire new content. International research firm Kantar Worldpanel has published another report on the smartphone market.   According to Kantar Worldpanel, as of February 2017, the iPhone share in the US smartphone market was 42%, which is 3.7% more than a year ago.  At the same time, smartphones on Android are still leading in the US.  Their share is 55.9% compared to 58.9% in February 2016.  Windows controls 1.7% of the US smartphone market.  And BlackBerry and other operating systems own 0.2% of the market. In the UK, Android has lost 0.5% in a year and now occupies 55% of the market.  And the share of iPhone for 12 months, on the contrary, increased from 37.8% to 42.3%.  BlackBerry OS in February this year owned 0.4% of the British smartphone market. In the French mobile market, the share of Android smartphones in February 2017 was 73.4% compared to 71.8% a year earlier.  IOS controls 24% of the market.  And Windows, BlackBerry and other mobile operating systems account for a total of 2.6% of the market. In Spain, the undisputed leader is Android.  The mobile operating system Google occupies over 92% of the local market.  In February 2017, iOS and Windows owned 7.4% and 0.4% of the market, respectively, which is less than in the same period last year. In Germany, the share of Android for the year fell by 0.3%, and iOS at the same time added 4%.  As for Windows, if a year ago Windows-smartphones accounted for 6.3% of sales, but now it is only 3%. The record growth of Android operating system was demonstrated in China.  There, for a year, its share increased from 76.4% to 86.4%.  And Apple recorded a drop in the share of iPhone in the Middle Kingdom from 22.2% in February 2016 to 13.2% in February 2017. In Brazil, from February last year to February this year, the share of Android-smartphones in sales increased from 90.4% to 93.2%, while the share of iPhone fell by 0.3% to 4.4%.  Windows-smartphones lost more than half of sales. The new Nintendo Switch also sells well.  According to the company, in the first month of sales, the dynamics turned out to be the best in the history of Nintendo consoles.  For March, there were 906 thousand consoles.  At the same time, Citigroup analysts believe that the desire to create both a mobile and a stationary device led to the fact that the Switch console was not very convenient for young children.  Unlike the past pocket consoles of the company, the new model is quite heavy for the child and large. Based on the assumption that the Switch is not suitable for children, analysts suggested that Nintendo could release a smaller version of the console within a year or two-something like the Switch Mini.  From March 2019, within 12 months, the need for a reduced version of the Switch can amount to about 6.7 million copies.
