In YouTube,  appeared a video-comparison of two versions, from which it was possible to draw disappointing conclusions: graphics in the original game at least not inferior to the reissued version.  It is enough to look at the first scene, where the water in the "original" looks like water, and in the reprint - like a million tons of luminous nuclear waste.   It is worth recalling the recent statement by representatives of Gearbox regarding a possible announcement of Bulletstorm 2. The first reviews of AMD Ryzen 5 processors appear now.  We have already talked briefly about the performance of  Ryzen 5 1400 4-core processor in synthetic tests and modern games .  Now our Spanish colleagues from El Chapuzas Informatico published a review of AMD's 6-core processor, Ryzen 5 1600. This processor has six physical cores for each of which there are two computational flows, which ultimately gives twelve streams.  The base frequency of the processor is 3.2 GHz, and it can dynamically increase to 3.6 GHz.  The volume of the shared cache in the third level in AMD Ryzen 5 1600 is 16 MB (8 + 8 MB), and each core has 512 KByte of the second level cache and 64 and 32 KBytes of the instruction cache and the first level data, respectively.  Like other Ryzen processors, this chip is made in the Socket AM4 case, and its TDP is 64W.  The recommended cost of the novelty for the US market is $ 219. The configuration of the test stand used by our colleagues is represented by the following components: * Motherboard: MSI X370 XPower Gaming Titanium; * Memory: G.Skill TridentZ DDR4 3600 MHz, operating at a frequency of 2400 MHz; * Video card: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming Z; * Power supply: Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro11 1200 V; * Solid State Drives: Kingston SSDNow KC400 128 GB and Corsair LX 512 GB; * Cooling system: Wraith Spire; * Operating system: Windows 10 64 bit. The performance of one core Ryzen 5 1600 processor is not expected to significantly differ from the performance of one Ryzen 7 1700X core, since they are built on the same silicon chips, only the six-core processor has two cores turned off. In multi-threaded tests, CPU-Z and wPrime 2.1 (32M), the novelty showedquite expected results, demonstrating a very good performance level  . In Cinebench 15, the novelty surpassed not only the overclocked up to 4.9 GHz and the more expensive quad-core Intel Core i7-7700K supplemented by the faster memory (3600 MHz), but also the six-core Intel Core i7-5930K.  But in video encoding, the latter was faster. With the memory, the Ryzen 5 1600 processor does not work well, although slightly better, compared to the Ryzen 7 1700X. In some synthetic tests the novelty AMD shows better results, in comparison with Ryzen 7 1700X, and in some slightly loses to it.  In most synthetic tests, the Intel Core i7-6700K processor is faster than both AMD representatives. As for gaming performance, it is quite impressive.  In most tests in the resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels), the novelty is slightly behind, from the more expensive Intel Core i7-6700K, and in some, it is ahead of it.  It is interesting to note that in the games Doom (when using OpenGL) and Rise of Tomb Raider (when using DirectX 11), the Ryzen 5 1600 processor is far ahead of the Ryzen 7 1700X. At 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), the situation is approximately the same, and in the case of most games, everything is stuck in the performance of the video card. With the standard cooling system, the processor frequency could be raised to 3.9 GHz, while the core voltage was 1.36 V. The temperature of AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor in idle time is 39 degrees Celsius, and under load 62 - 65 degrees Celsius.  The consumption of the system based on the novelty in the games was 245 W, which is approximately equal to the consumption of the system based on Intel Core i7-6700K, which is equal to 250 W. NVIDIA partners  have already presented their own versions of GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, which until recently could be considered a new "green" flagship. Palit company  this time somewhat delayed with the announcement of its versions , better late than never, and yesterday the manufacturer finally announced the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti JetStream and GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Super JetStream . The new products differ only in the operating frequencies of the graphics processors.  The younger model GeForce GTX 1080 Ti JetStream graphics processor operates with a frequency of up to 1623 MHz (base frequency> 1480 MHz, the exact value is not specified).  In turn, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Super JetStream GPU frequencies reach 1556/1670 MHz.  The memory for both new products operates at a standard frequency of 11008 MHz. GeForce GTX 1080 Ti JetStream and Super JetStream video cards are built on the same printed circuit boards Palit own design. Unfortunately, the number of systems phases is not specified, and it is known only that for additional power supply they both use two 8-pin connectors.  It is worth noting the presence of two BIOS chips.  The novelty cooling system includes two aluminum radiators, five copper heat pipes passing through the copper base and two 100mm fans that can be shut off at a low load on the GPU.  On the back side of the printed circuit board, both video cards have reinforcing plates.   The video card Palit GeForce GTX 1080 Ti JetStream and GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Super JetStream will soon be on sale, but unfortunately, the manufacturer does not specify their price yet. G.Skill continues to expand its already extensive range of Trident Z memory modules, and introduces two new Trident Z RGB DDR4 sets designed specifically for high-performance systems built on motherboards with the Intel X99 chipset.   Each of the new sets includes eight modules of 8 or 16 GB, which provides a total capacity of 64 and 128 GB, respectively.  Modules from the smaller set operate at a frequency of 3466 MHz and are characterized by latencies of CL16-18-18-38.  In turn, in a larger set of memory runs at a frequency of 3333 MHz, while having the same latencies. The operating voltage in both cases is 1.35 V. There is also support for Intel XMP 2.0 overclocking profiles.  As was the case with G.Skill, in support of the stated characteristics, the company published a voltage screenshot test with a smaller set. In addition to the sets for the Intel X99 platform, G.Skill also presented a Trident Z RGB DDR4 set of two 16GB modules each aimed at use with the Intel Z270 platform.  This 32 GByte set operates at a frequency of 3866 MHz and the latencies are only CL18-18-18-38, which is also confirmed by the screenshot below.  These modules also work with a voltage of 1.35 V, and support Intel XMP 2.0. Sales of new sets of G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 will begin in the near future.
