The Slovenian company EK Water Blocks reports that next week it will start selling branded waterblocks compatible with GeForce GTX 1080 Ti reference cards.  In addition to video cards of the Founders Edition series, compatibility is provided with the products of NVIDIA partners equipped with cooling systems with a tangential fan - the so-called "turbine", which is not entirely correct from the point of view of terminology.  Similar video cards also use printed circuit boards of reference design, NVIDIA partners only replace the regular cooling system of their own. Water blocks of the EK-FC1080 GTX Ti series use a traditional layout, allowing the flow of coolant in both the forward and reverse directions.  The base of the water block is made of nickel-plated copper, it comes into contact with a graphics processor, memory chips and power elements.   Both versions of the water block are equivalent in terms of efficiency, they even cost the same - € 119.95 in view of European taxes.  In the transparent version there are two landing holes for LEDs of size 3 mm. EK Water Blocks also offers reinforcing plates for the back side of the video card.  Black is estimated at € 29.95, nickel plated at € 37.95.  The water block also includes a plastic overlay on the terminal with a mention of the video card model. In addition, all water blocks are equipped with a bar of the rear panel, which allow to turn the video card into a "single-tiered", occupying the space of a single expansion slot.  Buy new items will be available from April 12 this year in the company's online store. In September last year, Intel began to return the previously purchased company McAfee to an independent life.  The controlling stake in the division of Intel Security was sold to the investment fund TPG for $ 3.1 billion. The other day, this deal was closed.  Intel has formally lost control of the unit, as now the 51% stake belongs to the TPG fund.  The division was also given the name McAfee, which will allow it to return to the security solutions market as an independent and recognizable player. Intel Optane drive versions based on 3D XPoint memory for consumer systems were supposed to go on sale after April 24 at a price of $ 44 for a 16 GB version and $ 77 for a 32 GB version.  Prospects for these products are already questioned , since the practical advantages in performance are clearly not worth the money for which new drives will be offered, given the modest volume. Founder Tesla Ilon Mask recently published a short five-second video test of the "pre-series candidate" electric vehicle Tesla Model 3, thereby trying to prove that the preparation for the start of mass production in July is in full accordance with the schedule.  Residents of California jumped at the fact of the existence of such a prototype.  It is known that this electric car periodically appears on the streets in the vicinity of Tesla headquarters, and one of the local residents shared with the resource Electrek a fresh video, in which the prototype Tesla Model 3 moves along the streets accompanied by a BMW car. This short video contains a couple of important revelations.  First, you can see the line of the tailgate connector, which partially "climbs" on the rear window racks.  The glass itself does not rise with the rear door, as on the Tesla Model X, so the Tesla Model 3 can be called a sedan without any reservations.  Another thing is that the sloping profile line forced to make the trunk opening narrow enough. Secondly, colleagues found an extended set of sensors for the "autopilot" on the prototype Tesla Model 3.  As with the restyling version of the Tesla Model S supporting Autopilot 2.0,  Tesla Model 3 is equipped with eight cameras (three in front, one in the back, one on each of the front wings and the middle racks).  However, there are also additional sensors on the rear pillars.
