Samsung Display, being a leading manufacturer of OLED displays, plans to invest a large amount in production expansion  . According to the publication, this year Samsung Display is investing in the expansion of production of OLED-panels about $ 8.9 billion. One of the reasons why Samsung decided to spend such a huge amount is called getting a large exclusive contract from Apple to supply OLED-displays for the new iPhone . Samsung Display owns 95% of the market for OLED panels.  According to analysts, about 70% of Samsung smartphones are equipped with OLED-displays.  But Samsung Display produces OLED-screens not only for their mobile devices, but also for smartphones from other manufacturers, including Chinese ones.  To meet the growing demand for OLED displays and to maintain market share, Samsung needs to expand production lines and increase production volumes.
