Almost all of last year management of TSMC company  promised that the Taiwan chipmaker will be the first in the world to master mass production of 10-nm semiconductors.  In fact, it turned out that Samsung was ahead of the competitor.  According to analysts, several 10-nm digital projects of MediaTek company  were canceled, until finally, TSMC has not started production of  Helio X30 processors.  This delayed the release of 10-nm solutions on TSMC lines and allowed Samsung to go ahead with the production of 10-nm SoC Samsung Exynos 8895 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. According to analysts, if Samsung keeps the level of 10-nm chips at a level no lower than 70% and if you take into account the area of SoC Exynos 8895 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 approximately equal to 150 mm2, then the South Korean chip maker produced about 19.2 million mobile processors.  This opens up the possibility for Samsung to soon introduce a new flagship smartphone.  For individual leaks, the announcement of the Galaxy S8 may take place on March 29.
